G-LAND ... YUP still bring some rubber. Hopefully i'll no longer be writing this at some near point in time. It's just not feeling too tropical along this latitude of 8 degrees when the rubber is for chill protection instead of reef protection. If it got this chilled at Panaitan, then it'd make it all the easier to commit to the rubber. But it's neither...
Swell still coming in to us, 8-10 foot faces on both days and pretty good form. We've just gone through the quarter moon position so the tides don't range greatly, something around 2 feet (60 cm) through the entire day. So it's been pretty much the same all day. Moneytrees really being the staple section, but Inside Launching Pad still working a little. And Fan Palms lining up pretty well for the few random guys having a go up there.
The winds have changed a bit. It's more like what most people would consider normal G-Land wind patterns. Maybe by 9 at earliest, more like 10 o'clock and up comes the offshore. It's been a long time since the pregnant lady has show us her innards in the early morning. The past week, prior to this 2-day report, the winds have been blowing real strong. 10-15 knots at least. But finally it's mellowed down and we've even been getting some pretty calm offshores and even dense clouds hanging over Grajagan Bay for part of the day. It's stirring my curiosity of what conditions will be like come these forecasted swells???
AND STRAIGHT UP ARM, AT MY HIGHEST REACH WITH A BIG SHAKA FLICKERING AT THE TOP TO THE MASSIVE CREW OF FRIENDS THAT WENT OUT ON THE 26TH!!! until next time....
