G-Land just got less crowded again today, when 14 guests arrived in Bobby's Surf camp, while almost twice that left! And its not like there isn't any swell. Solid 6ft swells coming across the bombie with an offshore blowing from the get-go this morning. I recall my first sight at 7am checking the surf was Ledge wave spitting. Not one person out until about 9am, and perhaps only a few until 11.

Through the afternoon with the (small) 1.4m high tide, there was about 20+ people on Money Trees in 4-6ft waves, and sounds like most people had fun. Kohei "The General" who is here on his yearly G-Land trip from Japan got ragdolled this afternoon! His leash broke when he pulled into a big tube and didn't make it out. Then he got 2 sets on the head through the impact zone, got rolled hard on the reef too. But he had a steamer on due to the real cold water luckily! It saved him big time. A huge chunk out of his twin fin tail too... He's alright though!

Ryan and I took motorbikes to Batulawan at lunch time, and surfed an average left 2-3ft, before going back to Tigertracks and here I surfed the right to myself for 40mins before anyone showed up to join me, and that was very very enjoyable 2ft bowly clean waves. I really enjoy that wave on my backhand.
