G-Land still had that funny sorta swell running, but right through the first few hours of light looked nice, glassy, and 4-6ft. After the high tide a better-than-yesterday offshore blew and made things look even better. Sets hitting all parts of the reef through the late morning. Seemed there was some west swell and some south swell in the mix.

26 new guests in Bobby's today, and a reasonable sized group left, so a lot of new faces it seems. The crowd never seemed to fluctuate and peak like it did yesterday late morning, and I didn't see broken boards anywhere. Eddy 'The Predator' and his buddies have rocked up to G-Land, but in a different camp, so will see some super exciting surfing from Ed on his backhand while he's out in the jungle.

I went out at 4:30 for the last hour of light. Got 2 really good barrels, and a couple average waves. And the current was sweet as, super mellow compared to yesterday. And the tide was right out late arvo, at 0.2m. Seen some horrific mutant double ups on the ledge, that looked humanly impossible to make the take-off's on, but one helluva impressive sight. My GoPro stuff turned out awesome especially on my Ledge wave, as seen in frame grab below. Also is from footage of my first Money Trees barrel this afternoon.

Dinner tonight was Calleloni Rippelli (not sure how to spell it right), a delicious Italian meal, served after a crab salad and before a choc/honey pancake for dessert.. mmm..

Mmmm

First wave in late arvo session, 6 second tube on GoPro
