G-LAND ... Big Swell Arrived Today and even though there were some amazing waves coming through, it was a reminder of just how all the elements must come together to get a true high-quality session.  Pick your choice, either be it a little too south in the swell or just not enough tide.  More west and it would have been a Money Trees all day long affair since the neap tide is ranging from a 1.1 meter low to a 1.7 meter high.  More tide and the Launching Pad sets would have seamlessly connected with it's compatriot down reef.

Don't get me wrong...it was good today, just had to be real patient for the good one to show up.  Probably 12 to 16 foot faces and decent offshore wind for most of the day.

The camp is hosting about 50 guests right now, a majority of which were searching for a more playful feeling in the surf.  So Chickens, 20-20's, and Tigertracks were probably holding the heavier load.  Probably about 15 people total out front from all 3 camps.  And with that crowd, you can imagine that it was all good between everyone.  Etiquette was evident!!!
