G-Land highlights for the day...in backwards chronological order... Tiger Tom walked up on a macan hitam (black panther) just before dinner time. He spotted it just in time to get a look at it before it split in a flash back towards the jungle. I've been hoping my luck would be so great for years. This is the 3rd time I've been right in the vicinity, but not on the spot.
G-Land went offshore today. BUT...only for 30 minutes. NO JOKE. At about 17:00, the onshore winds had come to a standstill and a local front from the east blew over us. Strong offshore gusts, just enough to clean up the residual surface bump from all-day onshores and give a few guys some nice looking waves. Surf still had some size to it, maxing out at about 8 foot faces upreef of Money Trees.
G-Land is the most packed it has been this season. With today's change over, were now using up all the tables in the dining area...but not all the seats...and getting pretty close to full-camp. 54 guests in total.
....PRAYING FOR GOOD WINDS! I know Pak Mangku is!!!
