G-Land cleaned up nicely and with a 5 foot swell from about 210 degrees, the entire length of the reef from Kongs to Speedies had waves. Bulan Baru (New Moon) tonight so we had a 2.3 meter high and 0.3 meter low spanning the day. Surf was 6-10 foot faces and clean. Still no offshore, but the wind was calm enough to let the glass stay through the day.
Camp loaded up this morning with 19 guests coming in and 0 going out.... so the total right now is 35. Definitely a different feeling in the water... all good and respectful... just the sight of so many more people is a shock.
Selemat Ulang Tahun (Happy Birthday) Woody. 30 years old and the staff put together a beautiful cake for him. Playing out the local tradition, Froddo snuck up behind him and smashed a raw egg on his head. It was the first time I've ever seen a sign on his face that looked like he was a little upset. He's a pretty stoic character, so that got wiped off pretty quickly and he was back to his classic slow, laying back his head shift into a smile.
Selemat Datang Pak Mangku. Puma came in today and it's great to have him around.
