G-Land today had the onshore flowing all day. The swell direction and size was perfect for a fun overhead day. In fact, the swells we've been getting have all had really nice direction, letting the energy attach and wrap around the headland and peel down the reef. I spent a lot of the day sitting out front checking to see if a window of calm or better wind materialized. No luck!
When I wasn't out front, I was hanging out back by the food box watching the Makak's sort out their feeding rights. One little guy amazed me how big his balls were. He would charge right up to us, flash is teeth, raise his brow, and get withing 3 feet of our feet. That would be like me trying to front on a 20-foot tall animal. NEVER!
