G-Land Surf was not all that inviting for me today. It was infact some great waves though. 3-5ft, offshore, with waves along most of the reef. But I really felt like something different. So late morning I went down to Tigertracks, with my shortest board, and hoped for some good righthanders to make a change from the neverending lefts of G-Land.
What an awesome decision it was, the waves were non-stop head high, with a wedgy bowly righthander that allowed for some really critical turns. Only a handful of people out (surprising considering there were 30 or so guys out a few days ago supposedly), and most of the crowd were going left on the high tide A-Frame. Going left was the last thing I wanted to do so I just caught wave after wave on the super fun right hander.
Being 5km from the camp, G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp offers a transport service to and from Tigertracks and 20/20's. After catching 50 waves I really didn't have the energy to be walking a 10km round trip!
