G-Land had some big waves today.  The Bommie was breaking pretty regularly and Money Trees was the best section to sit on.  10-16 foot faces with double-ups on the take-off really made it exciting.  Yesterday and today have been undoubtedly rejuvenating, clearing up any lingering thoughts of the recent pasts average...

G-Land received its SECOND sizable swell of the season.  Well...after writing that, I realized that "the season" is meant to acknowledge the dry season.  But it's still the wet season in my opinion.  Either way, the forecast prediction was 8 foot at 18 seconds at 215 degrees.  And it was pretty right on. G-Land...again...got drenched by the clouds.  The early morning was fairly calm, just a light onshore, but another rain squall came through at about 10:00 and gave us a thorough soaking.  Surf was OK.  The rain kept the wind speed down and so the wave face's stayed clean enough to let a few guys get some...
