G-LAND ...  12.12.12

from oldest to youngest...Rahmat, Ketut, Dion, me, Dewa, Hari, Blacky, Rohman, and Temon
that's who's out here now, watching over the place and trying our best not to engage in a full-blown military battle with the monkeys
about 5 days ago, i went into town to get supplies, putting all the snacks in the glass cabinet up front in the bar area
the monkeys figured out...finally...what the key is for    little punks but smart they are
i had a talk with Rambo since he was sitting on the sidelines during the debacle...telling him he knows this is wrong
and him being the leader of the crew needs to stop them from doing these sorts of things
"if this happens again" i said  "i'm coming after you!"
the next day the troop was out  front tearing everything apart and Rambo was sitting in front of my room...  no destruction to my stuff
YUP...little punks but smart!!!

ENJOY the photos...

"roots to branches" ...almost surreal...

on the way to Bedul (mangroves) and lost in a mahogany temple

crossing the mangrove to Bedul in full HD color

all the animals are cruising around now that we humans have mostly disappeared

sentinals to the clinic up front...it took me about 1 week of taking down their nests to finally realize that these wasps are NOT aggressive. so now there's about 12 nests guarding my front door. wish they just kept the monkeys away!!!

Inside Launching Pad running nicely...great fun this day

...enticing Moneytrees...

those clouds pushed across the bay, dumping relentless amounts of Indian Ocean evaporation on us, but not before another fun session was happening along the reef.

same storm but after it retreated back to the west...for you guys that were here in October and November...remember how dry and brown the jungle was? not anymore...in just 1 week of pretty regular rain, everything is screaming to be green!

this is for sure 1 of the most intense displays of sunset colors i've seen out here
