G-LAND ...   "yeah bro, go!!!!"   no idea how many times i said that today, but it was a lot.  We came back into our normal climactic patterns, that being offshores clocking in for the day right around 9 AM.  And it was a smooth, unvaried wind that blew from the better direction all day long.  We had the good fortune to choose from any wave along the reef, although Speedies wasn't really doing it today, there were some small, crispy pipeliners unraveling down the reef.  But Inside Launching Pad, Moneytrees, the Ledge, Fan Palms, and Kongs all keeping up their spirits.  8-12 foot faces, even a couple rogue sets just a little bigger.

Midday session seemed to be possibly the best for today.  Plus not many in the water at all.  I'll usually avoid paddling out on the slack tide, and i had no real intention to do so.  Things on land kept popping up and easily an hour n a half went by before i was grabbing my trunks.  Straight out into the slack and directly into a 18 wave set..."no exaggeration!"   The consecutive pulses of sets for about 2 hours.  So much for my "slack-tide" theory.   THANKS!!!

"YEAH BRO, GO!"    those are the sessions that all-the-more  liven up the high of surfing good waves cause you wanna see other people get on the high too.  I can only hope for these everyday.  We had some decent tubes today, some holding form for many seconds and some even being occupied the entire time.  Tom from Morro Bay, on his last day after extending a handful of times already, can now go home with a bank vault filled with images and emotions that should hold him up for at least a few months i'd think.  And i think that's something everyone that's been here before would hope for, to go home with a complete medicine cabinet filled to it's limit.
