G-LAND ... I had to have a look at the surf forecast i write down everyday on a piece of paper for what happened on the 2nd. The past 2 days easily wiped my memory clean of what went down on that day since we've been getting some quality waves on the 3rd and 4th. The 2nd was small, not much happening at all through Moneytrees, but small doesn't mean "not fun." Now i'm remembering getting some fun waves upreef at Fan Palms and Kongs. Head high max, clean, offshore, and enjoyable. And then the Gandrung Party for the Full Moon went down.
Today and yesterday jumped up real nicely. Double overhead plus and running the reef through Moneytrees almost all day long. The bottom of the tides both days kinda drew the swell way upreef and left Moneys absent of action, but didn't really matter since everyone was already surfed out. Launching Pad and Upper Speedies were working, but pretty short-lived. Some tubes down there for the guys that got them, and plenty of tubes up at Moneys for everyone else. The Ledge and Fan Palms were doing alright but not many takers .
Winds were perfect today and yesterday was pretty good except for a short-lived blow from the S. And the water has been fluctuating around a lot, going from comfortable today and chilled yesterday, but it's been doing that for about 10 days now. Warm water would be welcomed by me for sure!!!
