G-LAND ... And it's still stuck in the upwards swinging direction...the pendulum that is. Beautiful G-Land these past 2 days. Well it's been that for the past 4 days now that i think about it!!! Camp has filled up significantly compared to how it's been for many weeks and i just got the word from Roni...no extensions for the next trip so that means we're gonna fill up all 66 beds.
July 18th.
Double overhead plus with calm to light winds throughout the day and Moneytrees once again lining up very well. Some big, long tubes being ridden by a few guys that knew what was goin' on. Or maybe just lucky positioning, but either way, i was impressed by some of the waves running the reef with someone traveling inside for a long time. Launching Pad into Speedies still didn't really set up well. There were some solid peaks coming into the Pad but just wasn't happening except for a few. The swell direction is supposedly 209 degrees and i was thinking everything was gonna have a chance to work. Maybe on this next forecasted swell coming in on the 21st???
July 19th.
Another beautiful day with better winds than yesterday and some really amazing looking waves, both from the inside and outside view. YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
