G-LAND ... 4 day sabbatical from the computer, but it didn't mean that i would have written anything significant about the surf during the absence. HOWEVER, we have been getting some fun waves...anything from head high to almost double overhead when we received a new swell on the 8th, but nothing that the numbers were forecasted for. Still great conditions on the wind and great spirit in the water, even with really inconsistent sets. That seems to be the character of the swells lately...long waits and the sun has been roasting us into croutons.
Ahhhh...some news worthy of knowing....the water has chilled down a bit, so bring some rubber. It's that time of the year and no surprises if it does go from chilled to cold.
