G-LAND ...  And so we continue onwards into this unreal affair.  Early morning conditions looking like it's more like 10 o'clock.  I'm repeating myself for the past month, but it's so abnormal that i'll keep writing about it until it fades away.  We've also been getting some chilled water...not cold...but noticeably different.  Vests...shirts...jackets...made from rubber and you're good.  Nothing like last season where i was wearing a 2mm short-arm full.  And i hope it doesn't turn into that again.

So the surf was small.  Not much happening out front, although every 2 hours, there would be a set coming into Moneytrees.  Most all the surfing happened upreef from Fan Palms right on out to the top of the point.  Probably the smallest day in a month...about head high.  Actually could have been fun down at Tigertracks.  Sometimes it's the same size as Kongs on those small days, and it felt like one of those days. But not 1 person went down into the Bay.

SO....just got an email from Jarred Hancox....    a mishap in the water is putting him out of the water for a few months now.  Gotta keep your fins engaged at all time Jarred.  3 fractures in the foot puts him in a cast for 6 weeks.  Then some rehab time after.  Bummer bro......get well and stay positive    or     stay positive and get well!!!
