G-LAND ... The internet has been down so trying to remember what went on these earlier days. Gonna go have a look at the photos now since that will make it easier.....
OK...the 3rd must not of had much happening since there were no photos to see. New swell came in on the 4th, standing up along the entire reef and really focusing in on Moneytrees proper and the Fang. The Ledge and Fan Palms also getting some great sets since the swell was at coming in from that angle (212 degrees) that seems to give everything a chance to work. Launching Pad and Speedies happening too. 10-12 foot faces and early AM offshores once again.
The 5th continued on from the day before...a little smaller but really still the same character. Only thing that changed was we needed to wait until about 9 o'clock for the offshore to come up, but once it did, it held up nicely for the entire day. The 6th backed off through the day, but such an amazing looking early morning. Clean, glassy, and piping down the reef with great looking sections. Should've gotten out there but it was transport day and so i had to battle off that urge to surf. By the end of the day, not much happening out front. The swell really went dry and for anything decent looking, you had to wait it out for a long time.
