G-LAND ...   Those mornings that start out with the fresh, new sign of a swell are always exciting.  Yeah we already had the know of a swell coming in from the forecast, but it was showing it arriving the day before.  Or at least the websites i use.  And so we just had to see what would happen.  The day before, even though it was real funnnn...it was pretty small for G-Land standards.  By 8 o'clock, we were looking at 10-12 foot faces and really clean conditions.  No wind and glossy!!!   Lot's over cloud cover was making it seem like the day could go either direction on the winds.   Or maybe even just remaining glossy all day long.

I ended up taking a few guests down to Tigertracks since it just seemed like a good idea.  But there were some really quality looking waves running the reef out front.  Tigers was good size...overhead on the sets and Tiger 1's was lining up really nicely, peeling off for a couple hundred yards and fun form.  In fact, everything in the Bay was working.  But the view back up at G-Land was pretty impressive.  I could see some solid looking waves stair-casing down the reef and what looked like something like 3 times overhead.

So we headed back home and Moneytrees was doing it's thing.  Not triple overhead, but double overhead and a little bit more sometimes.  Triple overhead up at Fan Palms and Kongs though.  I'd seen an amazing looking set run through the top of Moneys all the way down, but not 1 person was in position at the peak.  The story from today was resonating by everyone coming in...the current was ridiculously strong.  But this set loaded up and piped off down the reef without a section and a massive curtain on it.  One of those sets that riding deep in the barrel was gonna happen whether you tried to set up for it or you didn't.  By the time it got to the pack, it wasn't the same.

Everyone out here seems really happy.  No injuries and not many snapped boards either.  Good Day at G-Land!!!

For those of you that connected already....THANKS.    But still got a favor to as if you’re coming over anytime soon from the US,  please send me a message to narchi@grajagan.com.     I'm still trying to get an  ankle brace.  I’ll have it shipped to your address so that there's no hassle.
