G-LAND ... What a fun day of surfing. The conditions were real beautiful ...light offshore ...real clean surface texture ...the swell from yesterday built a bit more giving us 10-12 foot faces ...and there was a pretty good crew of guys (and a couple of girls) in the water. There was unfortunately, some dysfunction going on for a bit created by a few hungry, blind ones out there. But all things considered...ALL WAS GOOD!!!
Moneys was working on all tides except the very low, Kongs and Fan Palms going off all day long and the Ledge turned on for just a real short stint when Moneys turned off. A lot of barrels today...the kind that neve really loaded up with a thick lip, but more just the playful style waves that can happen here.
The standout today was Doctor Larry from o'ahu. In his 6th decade of life and charging in my opinion. Real good session with him in the water today. He seemed real thankful for it too!!!
So the water is slowly on the rise, adding another degree or so to yesterday's rise...3rd day in a row. But everyone is still wearing wetsuits minus a few randoms. So DON'T FORGET to bring those suits.
