Offshores from the crack of dawn! Where were thou during the big south swell??? Hmmm... Well a bit of an increase this morning. Low tide with 3-4ft sets and a stiff offshore blowing. Sets focusing Fan Palm and Ledge today. By the afternoon it was 4-5ft. By the looks of things late in the day the swell was a bit wobbly so you had to choose the right one.

After lunch I went down and surfed Tigertracks, my 3rd time since being in G-Land the past 6 weeks. Was fun! Only 2ft on the sets, but it was great to have a change of wave. Heaps mellower, crowd was mellow too, not too much paddling, and the water was warmer than the main break, but still some of those 20 degree (max) cold patches mingling into the usually warm Tigertracks water. If you turn up at G-Land anytime soon with no rubber, your gonna get cold! I ended up hitting the reef and getting one of my worst reef cuts this season. Ha! Nothing to serious though.
