G-Land had some potential when I looked at 6:30am. 3-4ft sets coming down the reef, high tide 8-9am @ 2.2m, wind still light, but no doubt offshore coming... So I went and had breakfast, and at 9am paddled out. Well, the potential quickly faded with the diminishing swell! Considering there were 6ft sets on sunset last night, the 2ft sets coming through while I was out was not that encouraging. Did what I could, and there was a few fun waves for doing turns on. But yeah...
Not much more to write about today? The water was warmer, boardies & wetsuit vest was perfect... Tonight we watched 'Busting down the door' DVD in the movie studio. Great movie!! Was a full house, first full cinema I've seen this season yet. And just to keep you on your toes, we're expecting some REAL SOLID swell soon... few more days, could be biggest swell of the season easily!
