G-LAND ... Such a beautiful day!!!  Swell still happening and lining up through the entire length of the reef.  But really focusing on Money Trees through the higher tide.  Speedies did pull in a few good looking sets, but the wind was never really going offshore during the peak of the high tide and so the bump was still running along the faces.  Some double-overhead plus sets, but mostly around 10-12 foot faces for today.

But come the proper offshore and G-Land was looking much more like you would want it to.  Gotta be true and clear though...you wouldn't have wanted it to look so crowded.  A lot of poor etiquette in the water today.  It's like traffic on the road ...  meaning ... no one likes traffic but come the moment in time to keep the pace up and go past the accident, most everyone still almost stops to check out the carnage (not to help), making more traffic.  No one likes to get snaked, jockeyed, dropped-in on, and on and on and on...but people still do it to other people. People can be strange!!!

Which brings me to the ultimate poignant beauty of that special section of the reef that thrusts upward more than any other section out here.  Seems to me that everyone gravitates towards remembering who is next up and where their place in line is.  And then there are those lumps there that jack up and ledge out just a few body lengths this way or that way, but "any way" away from whose up next, and it's coming to the guy that's 5th in line...MAYBE YOU!!!  There were some mutants there today...and some classics too!!!

IF YOU’RE COMING OUT HERE SOON, still BRING SOME RUBBER…
WATER HAS WARMED UP A BIT, BUT IT’S still a little CHILLY
and THE OFFSHORE still MAKES IT COLD
