G-LAND ... On Once Again!!! That new swell which slowly filled in yesterday loaded up with even more energy through the night. By the time of sunrise, what was double-overhead yesterday evening became up to 3X over our heads. But the conditions were not smooth and easy. Bombora sets pushing through and morning lumps and bumps make it a challenge. So you gotta wait for the wind...RIGHT?
Everyday has slowly been getting closer to blessing us with all the elements needed to produce the top quality waves running down the reef. But it is only the wind which we are patiently waiting for. Like the others days just recently behind us, short cameo appearances of OFFSHORES keep teasing us with the hopes of more. Pretty much when something good is happening, you'd like to feel more of it. But I'm still thankful for what we've been getting since it's been real nice. By the day's end, the swell backed down to about 2x overhead and cleaned up real nice. Some hollow waves coming through, but mostly just down-the-line walls at Money Trees...which are..such good fun.
I'll load up some photos from the past swells soon. Dave is in camp now, taken photos and he's definitely captured some moments worthy of putting them on this screen.
