G-LAND ... Surf dropped off after that 6 day-straight very heavy-loaded plate of surf I wrote about in the last report.  And so it looks like another trend may be settling in.  A trend in the opposing direction.  But as the experience goes from looking at the predictions (which I don't have much of) and looking at the place, the forecasts don't have the ability to pick-up on the subtleties of the swell magnifying proportions of the Sunda Trench.  And so...the next few days will be interesting enough for me to watch what happens.

Surf was 6-8 foot faces, sometimes more, but usually not.  Kongs and Money Trees surfable all day long, but the mid-tide seemed to be the best.  Wind was not so good though.  Onshore, South and never East.  But a good long moment in time from noon until about 2 and it went glass.  And then again at sunset.

If magic exists, not like the kind that saws people in half or pulls a top-hat out of a rabbit's ass, but the kind that really suprises you in the way that leaves you all alone in awe, with your jaw dropped, a smirk pulled across the width of your eyes and your belly pulsating from pumping air back and forth...then I give it to alcohol.

It's loaded with magic!!!  Just depends on whether you were given it's "magical properties" that other people enjoy being around.  Some people drink the drink and go into another place that is all-time classic.

Where am I going?

You're reading this so you've probably been here.  And you've probably been here during at least one night where someone (maybe it was you) or more than just one  undecidely cut themselves out of their skin and let it all hang free.  He's up on the table right now!!! And YES he's letting it all hang free.  He's naked...only guys around too which means he doesn't care.  Or something else but I think he just isn't bothered by that.  And so....he's playing air guitar, but using our broom as a pecker blocker.  It's been raining a bit lately and so you can only imagine that the broom is all the crustier.  BUT HE DON'T CARE!!!  G-LAND in the night can be interesting...
