G-LAND ... Another beautiful day with the right conditions to make everyone smile. Swell still coming in strong and good winds!!! The sun has been shining and those danky damp belongings are having the chance to really dry out. It's been two weeks since I've come into camp and in that time, only 2 real dumps of rain have come through. VERY NICE!!!
Kong, Money Trees, Upper Speedies, 20-20's, Tigertracks...almost the whole collection of waves were working. Just the Ledge holding back from showing its face. The sets out front were still 10-14 foot faces and a few had real nice barreling sections.
The Bombora has been breaking on these past swells, but only really just capping over. One day...on that day...it would be nice to take the dingy out and check it from the corner to see what it's doing. There was one day about a week ago that a few sets really broke properly on it and the potential to surf it was there. I've heard some stories of a few going after it, but that's about it.
