G-LAND ... feels quite special to be here at this moment. We've been experiencing another one of those rare "dry-season" periods. The previous one's haven't lasted for so long, but welcomed for sure. Warm, dry, and good offshore winds throughout the day.
The surf was high quality today, starting off in the 10-12 foot face range and dropping down to about 8-10 foot faces by sunset. The tide peaked early in the morning and again at sunset, giving us 2 sessions of Inside Launching Pad and Speedies. The form was best in the morning, but still quality for the sunset session. And Money Trees was working all day since the tide range was a 0.7 meter low to a 1.8 meter high. Craig and Anebal got a midday Money's session to themselves and that's a beautiful thing. I didn't make it out until 3 and had the good-fortune to catch a few from Launching Pad before the crew came out. But a light crew at most being that there were about 11 of us there, which includes 4 off the 2 boats from Bali.
Tomorrow, everyone will be leaving. Meaning all the guests here, at Raymond's, and at Joyo's. I'll probably be writing one more report to close out the season and then head back over to Bali within a few days.
