I'm sure most people in the realm of surfing have already received word about Andy Irons. 32 years of life is not too long, but I hope that it was enjoyable for him. I met him once, just in passing in my old hometown. His wife was my neighbor and her situation now seems to be one of those significant challenges in life. I remember her as a genuinely friendly and sweet girl. My hopes are that she can find a peaceful place within herself considering everything she will confront.
