Ocotber 24th 2010

G-LAND ... swell continuing to line up the reef with some beautiful waves.  The sized backed off a little from yesterday, getting up to 10 foot faces....BUT...there's always those random rogue one's that come through and stand up much larger than the others.  And winds once again going offshore from about 10 o'clock on!

I didn't go for a surf today since I was infected with that tropical malaise which shows up unexpectedly, so plenty of time spent hanging on the bale bengong in front.  Money's Was On!!!  All Day...and towards the later afternoon, Inside Launching Pad started to collect so many sets it began to fill me with bigger hopes for tomorrow.  The forecast looks real positive and so did those sets.  I couldn't see Kongs, but supposedly some quite long, well-shaped bombs were coming in real smooth and clean.

There's not so many here right now...maybe around 50 in the jungle and about 1/2 are here in the camp.  Tomorrow is transport day and the numbers will balance right out so seems like the season is coming to an end in most people's mind.
