G-Land had some nice waves today. The swell didn't come in as big as I was expecting, but there was still some great 4-5ft sets (6-9ft faces) through the morning hitting Money Trees. The tide was sitting just under half tide for most of the morning, but not too low, the offshore wind was up by 8am, and the sun was out. Clean waves firing off down the reef.

15 guests came in today including a solid contingent of Japanese surfers. About 10 people left. So we're still up in the high 30's for camp numbers. Michael Narchi just arrived too. I'm leaving on the next trip so Michael is taking over the reins of surf guide for the remainder of the season. Looks like clean offshore winds for at least the whole next week so thats a nice bonus for him!

I ended up going down to Tigertracks again but perhaps with the more south angle, the swell wasn't getting down there so big and it was only 2ft again (shoulder height sets). Still, clean shape and a few fun pockets to snap into. End of the day the swell was a bit lullier and smaller, but still some 3-4ft sets coming through straight in front of camp out at Money's.
