G-Land wasn't too bad today. The swell was overhead and the wind was offshore all day right from 7am! Money Trees was copping most of the good sets, however wave selection was crucial. Because of the swell direction and (lack of) size, a lot of waves were sectioning off a bit too fast. Still a solid 3-4ft, and occasionally nearing 5ft on the major sets. So about 6-8ft faces on the sets.
Low tide was a 0.7m at lunch time, and because Money Trees wasn't up to my standards (I get fussy here, there was still some nice racey ones) along with I wanted to do turns, I surfed Kongs & Fan Palms. Bit of current with the extra swell today, but got some really fun walls with rippable pockets and a few lil barrels. And only a handful of us out.
Looked at it in the afternoon as the tide came back in and when the sets came at Money Trees they were great, but not a great deal of good ones. If you got them though... nice barrels and light offshore groomed faces...
I choose to take a nap instead and then get a massage followed by some yoga and then reading a book! Bit of variety added in... Then OH MY GOSH the dinner tonight was DELICIOUS! Chicken meal with yummy veges and salad. But the chicken was a breast and it had amazing sauce on it. Mmmmm.
