G-Land was not all that big today, but certainly fun! Instead of looking at it and whinging to myself that it was small, I paddled out (mostly inspired by my friend Ryan Cantlon that just arrived today), and actually got some really fun 2-3ft runners along the reef. So waist to head high, and not too many people out, especially on the high tide, it was easy to get a stretch of reef with few if any people.

It was glassy early till about 9, then a light variable till 10, then we got out at 10 and it went offshore till just after 11, then a squall came through and we were on the edge of it, but still copped some tweaked devils wind for an hour plus some rain. RAIN. My god did it rain this morning. About 3am to 4 or 5am was HEAVY. Like heaviest I've ever heard. I turned my light on, and did a crossword for half an hour then it calmed, so I slept again. Like where is it all coming from?? Typhoon in China offcuts maybe? Thankfully we get lots of sun through the days and offshore winds.

Looking like a bit bigger tomorrow, and bigger again the day after, so the next few days are promising some goodness...
