G-LAND ... alright! ALL IS RIGHT!!! Swell pushed upwards in size from yesterday and it was beautiful to see. Giving thought to it right now...I got suckered in by the forecast. Normally, I avoid making decisions from what the computer dictates, but ... oh well. So I decided not to surf all day and take care of a ulcerating hole in my mind of ding repair so I can surf different boards for this "alleged" swell. I hope more good conditions come.
Money Trees was lining up from a nice swell angle, but they were REAL FAST. Once the offshore started up and did a proper comb-over, the sections were staying hollower for longer and making them more of a possibility. Sets were getting up to 10 foot faces and standing up quick on the peak...exciting looking drops from the beach. If you read yesterday's report, then you know about the numbers. They were all in the water. Moneys had a string line of dots from the peak to the bottom. Looked pretty intense, but beautifully, no bad stories from anyone.
No stories from anyone going down into the bay. I would think TigerTracks was fun at the right tide...maybe chest high, but clean and nice shape. Opposite direction to Kongs and stories of more solitude and clean, open-face, respectable surfing came back to me. I like it!!!
Keep on it for tomorrow...
