G-Land Bobby’s Surf Camp had a reasonable size increase in numbers, and now the total of 45 guests after changeover is a more typical number expected this time of the year. The waves hadn’t increased though, they were 2-3ft (head high on the biggest waves) with Kongs being a fun option. People were surfing Money Trees but it was a bit small for it really. But nice if you got the right one.
My friend Israel Hyde from New Zealand but been living in Port Macquairie Australia, come over today with his mate Scott. We all went out Kongs from 11am to 1pm. The tide was on about a 0.9/0.8m through the low, and it was pretty soft but fun sections popping up to whack. At one point I caught about 10 sick waves in a row that hit the top of Fan Palm and wow they broke nicely. Head high and such good shape.
Pizza for lunch along with chocolate and honey pancake, then a arvo movie in the air con cinema followed by yoga at the beach with some Bintangs, the day turned out just great.
