G-Land stayed strong. Decent size swell still coming through with the largest sets getting up to 14 foot faces. Ledge and Upper Money Trees were definitely the better part's of the reef to be surfing at. I'm sure that Kong's had some sizable sets up there, but I couldn't really tell from where I was at and there has been no stories told to me about it.
Headed down to Tiger Tracks in the early morning hoping to get a few fun right-handers. A little bumpy but once it cleaned up, it was good fun. The mid-sized waves...about head-high...were the gems. Not bowling like it can, but still holding a fun transition to play with. On the way back, the Ledge looked pretty impressive and well worth jumping off the boat to catch one nice wave in.
The after-lunch session was great. There were some truly high-quality barrels coming through Money's and every so rarely, a train would come from outside Ledge and run all the way down the reef into Money Trees. WOW!!! I never got so lucky, but I saw a few of them grind down the line and they came complete with hoots from the spectators.
And we had good wind for the second half the day...
