G-Land on May 5th 2010

G-Land maintained a high level of wave quality from yesterday.  The swell backed off just slightly in size, but the sets coming through were still setting up some nicely peeling waves.  Plenty of barrels once again.

Surf was about 10 foot face maximum and hitting the whole reef.  Each section had it's window of time through the day and to get 2 days in a row of good G-Land after several weeks of average G-Land really stands out.

Today was one of the more intense afternoon sun's that I've felt.  You know what I mean by that low angle sun...right?  A hat will help, but these are the days that thoughts of masks, visors, or goggles start forming their little sprouts inside the brain.  But that also means no rain!!!  And that's the trade-off...
