G-LAND!!! Oh my goodness what a day. To the guys who hung here for awhile and had to leave today, I wish you didn't. And I'm sorry you had to. But I know there will be another time for you to get it. I'm hoping I'll be here too when that time comes.
Truly a quality day! Winds stayed good almost all day, blowing with some degree of east in it. The swell was up and when the tides were right for each section of the reef, they all had their opportunity to produce some beautiful waves.
Money Trees was working well in the late morning and late afternoon... Launching Pad and Speedies were regularly connecting when you would expect they would, and Kongs was looking good pretty much all day long. Sets were maximum 12 foot faces towards the bottom of the reef and a little bigger up top. And quality barrels coming through from Money Trees down into Speedies...not meaning that it was connecting, just that this was where they were at.
One of those days when many of the guests appear to be overly thankful that they got to be a part of a beautiful day at G-Land! We were bombarded by some extremely heavy rain yesterday and today's forecast was to be relatively the same. Well...
