G-Land may "possibly" be turning. I can't put too heavy of a bet on the winds coming right, but the past 3 days have definitely been getting better and better. Light winds today and the longest stint of offshores...lightly blowing for about 2 hours today.
G-Land surf was down a bit from yesterday, but still a few head-high waves coming through. I got lucky with an uncrowded morning time session at Speedies. Then made my way up to lower Kong's and sat around through many a many lulls. Every so often though, a decent set would come through and line up down the reef for a 100 or so yards.
The forecast showed a little bump and right around sunset time, a nice little bump showed up. Speedies had some very nice looking waves running down the reef. Not all of them were make-able, but they were clean and hollow. Looked like a great place to be at, especially since no one was there.
