G-Land change over today. Guests out....guests in....and we're hosting a total of 37 of them after the switch. I said goodbye to a good crew of guests.
G-Land was blue skies and had that atmospheric haze concealing the volcanoes, mimicking a standard dry-season appearance. Come on! Please come on...start blowing offshore. We've had plenty of swell...nothing too sizable on a consistent basis, but plenty of fun days. Plenty of days that with the offshore, well...there would be barrels.
Surf was about 5-7 foot faces and mostly focusing on Kongs. Money Trees was breaking and a few sets were breaking on inside Launching Pads, but not too many. I had a session that went in two radically different directions. The first half was me and only me...surfing Ledge/Money's and then Inside Launching Pad getting plenty of smooth faced waves. The second half was me and 2 handfuls surfing blown out (from the N wind, aka. "Devil Wind" by some) Ledge/Money's until dusk cause we were waiting for a few decent waves that never came.
Chicken BBQ for dinner!!!
