G-Land stayed firm from yesterday's conditions. Even better, the swell seemed to be hugging the reef a little more, setting up Money Trees with some extremely long, peeling waves. The mid-morning tide level was perfect for Money's. Only two guys out there from about 7:00 until 9:30.
I hung back to wait for the 11:00 o'clock tide switch, hoping to get some quality waves down the reef. The wind stayed calm and minus a 1-hour lull right when I paddled out at Money's, it was another quality (non-offshore) day here at G-Land. Plenty of swell, consistent 8-10 foot face sets with a few random larger one's coming through and by 2:00, I was, along with most everyone else, completely satiated for the day.
By the late afternoon, only a few Japanese guests staying here were having at low-tide Fang. Pretty impressive considering how quick you can get washed right up on the reef.
There was a really short window of offshore's from about 2:00 until 2:30. I really hope this is a sign for what's to come.
