G-Land is hopefully following a new trend. Conditions were beautiful today. No dry-season trades...probably because it's still the wet season, but the air was calm...ALL DAY. Yesterday, I wrote that it was the best day since I arrived. Today was better. A little smaller, but it was the first day that people were able to competently ride the barrel.
G-Land surf was 8-10 foot faces and the entire length of the reef had waves... Speedies had just a few coming through from what I could see sitting up reef. I mostly hovered around Money Trees both sessions... but the Fang drew me to it a handful of times. Easy to feel the need to be thankful on days like today. I can only hope...and wait...for a day with more swell and proper offshores. Yeah...wanting more is the problem!!!
For those of you that know her...Molly went back to Bali. Mandatory removal because of the national parks conservation laws. She seemed to know something was happening when the leash went on. Hopefully she's able to sneak back onto the ferry and get over here on her own. Kuta will be a hard transition...even for a dog.
