3rd consecutive day of quality G-Land Surf. Backed-off just a bit from yesterday, but "only a bit." Every day that passes makes me more appreciative for the conditions that we're getting. There will be that day...probably soon...where I'll commit to the thought "yeah, the season has switched." It's getting hotter, more humid, a few light rains at night, more atmospheric moisture hanging above Grajagan Bay, the monsoon season started off the Philippines, BUT... the offshores are still happening. And that needs to change so I can easily "commit to that thought!"
Ledge/Moneys looked (I didn't surf again) best, but Kongs down through Money Trees had waves. I was beginning to feel proper Ledge would happen, but nope. Proper Ledge is the rarest wave here in my opinion. The surf was ranging from 6 to 10 on the face. Some of the larger one's were holding open properly and a few guys were getting those nice looking tubes. Smooth faces once again.
I didn't look at the surf during lunch time, but I can imagine that waves were peeling down the reef, freely and untouched by any of us. Surfing alone at G-Land happens at either ends of the dry season, during the wet season .......or...... at night!!!
