Not too much to write about today BECAUSE it was a day to do mainly one thing here at G-Land.... RIDE a SURFBOARD on WAVES. I can throw in a few other activities such as; ate quality food, fixed a few dings, stretched, but I don't want to yank details out of them.
Surfed some quality 6 to 8 foot-faced Fang. I saw some nice barrels from both perspectives and they were equally enjoyable. My goodness there were some smooth faces today in the G-Land Surf. Another blessed offshore day. Money's had some larger sets but the power was being harnessed further down reef. Stories of long-walled Kongs were told in between slugs of a sunset-time beer. It really was a day to just go surfing. Everyone...which is not many at all...appears to be truly content and thankful.
Happy 50th Birthday Mark 'Macca' McCarthy. If you end up reading this, I hope you remember today's bequeathed present. And thanks Frodo for your baked birthday cake....DELICIOUS. Those of you that time your trip to Bobby's G-Land Surf Camp on your birthday hopefully get presents too.
