Nice deep long sleep until 7:30 A.M.. I had a little help pulling my door open this morning cause of an early arrival...OFFSHORES. Good fun all day today with crisp faces 6 to 8 foot high. Nice walls and some exciting tight barrels. Money Trees and all of Kongs easily spread everyone out thin. It was a playful day in comparison to the past 4 days of swell in the G-Land Surf.
Walking up the point late afternoon was refreshing. When I was going past Kongs, I saw some quality displays of wave riding... tight snaps in the pocket and long drawn arcs or just simple down-the-line speed generators. Around and beyond the point and now I feel really good. Bobby's G-Land Surf Camp is plush, but this peninsula is amazing!
You ever look at a squirrel and think..."if i cut it's tail off, it looks a lot like a miniature bear?" Just a thought from G-Land.
