Welcome back to G-Land Bobby's Surf CampĀ Mr George, aka Mr Coca Cola, perhaps the guy who has spent the most amount of days in G-Land than anybody else?! A legend in his own right, he knows the G-Land Surf like the back of his hand, he's in his 50's and he's fit as a fiddle, rides a variety of surfboards and surfs 2-3 times a day, and outpaddles everybody!
G-Land was about 3-4ft in the morning withthe odd rogue 5fter, and the offshore wind was blowing from first light, making clean conditions all day long. Go the Tradewind, keep on puffing!! Speedies had a few nice ones on the high tide, as did Money Trees.
I took a young girl and a bloke down to Tigertracks and did some surfcoaching with them, filming and giving them pointers on improving. There was a few fun small ones for them.
Tonight was the full moon of October, and in G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp tradition we hosted our monthly full moon party called 'The Gandrung'. Alot of dancing with traditional Banyuwangi dancers, and plenty of fun to be had. I even got the two grommets Waretini & Elliot from NZ up and dancing with the girls, the 3 of us were pulling out some lethal dance moves!
