G-Land gave me a great sleep last night, a solid uninterrupted 8 hours, was great! Came to the beach to see some fairly solid swell still rolling through. A stiffer than yesterday offshore wind came up at 10am, and the game was on in the G-Land Surf.
The swell seemed to drop a bit by the time most of us paddled out. So mostly 3-5ft waves, but then there would be the odd rogue 6ft set. Being so west, the waves were just about all upper money trees, and it was fairly crowded, plus there was a current running all day!
After lunch I went back out about 3pm, and with a 0.1m tide at 5pm I was hoping to score the Ledge. It actually had a few bomb waves, and whenever a set hit the Ledge it would barrel quite hard and be makeable! Got a few sick late drops into the pit, always feels better being in G-Land with some fresh barrel memory's...
Whilst in Bali I bought some supplements: SuperPump250 for pre-workout explosive energy and SizeOn for post-workout recovery. So after my long Ledge session I punched back a Pocari Sweat 1 litre mix, and then about another litre of water mixed with my Creatine/Carbohydrates SizeOn mix. Follow that with a couple of Bintangs and then some New Zealand Sirloin Steak with Corn, vegetables and garlic bread, pancake, then a new DVD playing up in our Movie Cinema... Life at G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp is Bloody Bagus!!!
