G-land Surf was a little bigger today, but the entire late morning was frustrating for all, with a gay current sweeping down through Kongs. But if you paddled up the point long enough, there were good 4ft sets to catch. The wind was also a bit Southerly. After a couple of Bacon Lettuce Tomato Egg Sandwiches and a pancake I went back to my room for a sleep at G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp.
G-Land got quite nice in the afternoon, no more current and some solid 4ft sets, groomed by a light offshore. One wave I caught through The Fang I got 3 tubes, it was real fun.
For your information, the water right now is as warm as it is in the Mentawais! Boardies every surf with no wetsuit at all, and I'm warm as toast. Unreal..
