G-Land played a trick on me today. It showed me yet again how inaccurate internet reports can be for this place of mystical and magical powers. After waking up I checked the surf charts on my wireless connection from my room, and it showed today as the smallest day of the week, so I spent 2/3rds of the day just relaxing in Bobby's G-Land Surf Camp.
At 3pm I decided to check the G-Land Surf (a mere 50metre walk from the restaurant) and lo and behold I seen some solid 3-4ft sets coming through with glassy oily conditions!! So soon after I was out there, and scoring some real nice waves up Kongs.
Today turned out to infact be the bigger day of all the last 3 days, and in the afternoon it was really consistent with overhead sets.
