G-Land Surf was not quite what I expected when I woke, only 3-4ft, although totally surfable from dawn, with a light offshore grooming it, and staying clean for the whole day. Tuesday, July 14th, 2009G-Land was a slow weird day for me today. Woke up at 4am and couldn’t go back to sleep. After breakfast and extended time checking the waves, I decided that nothing much was happening, after 5 days of surfing, my body and mind were demanding a rest. So most of the day I chilled in my room, on the internet, reading books, and doing crosswords.
G-Land Surf was still a solid 3ft, occassional bigger, offshore, and nice rides to be had along the reef. Reports from Tigertracks were 2-3ft and fun also.
Looks like a nice swell hitting tomorrow afternoon, a good high peak period, nice size, and a lil bit more south than the past 2 swells, so heres hoping its gonna be its usual crispy barreling grinding self again!
