G-LAND ...

MAY 29.
YES...after about 5 days of relatively small waves for G-LAND, a nice little energetic arrival came to us.   Nothing overly sizeable, but enough to be thankful of for sure.  Sets of 4-5 waves coming in at about 10 foot faces, smooth, clean, lips getting ripped back out to the bay by the offshores, and just good fun.

The swell was true SW...225 degrees...and it did what it tends to do from that direction.  Fan Palms and The Ledge were really collecting every molecule of energy.  Kongs always gets swell.  But it was really the two down-the-reef spots that were holding the better form and setting up some surfer's with a palpable flavor of tuberiding.  And a few individuals taking advantage of the right size at the right spot on the reef to enjoy the option of carving, snapping, floating...whatever they see/feel the need to do!!!

MAY 30.
It still hung around...the swell...and was pretty much identical to yesterday.  Minus how it's never the same.  ???If that makes sense???  The only thing that remains the same with the surf over here is that it's typically high quality surf.  But the character always changes.  It's pretty amazing how it does that here!!!
