G-LAND ...   Just a little shift in the ultra nice conditions out here lately.  The 19th had the normal morning lump to it that almost seemed awkward for the first few minutes of watching it.  It's easy to start feeling accustomed to dawn offshores when they're happening...just something within that naturally loves it to be as such everyday.  But instead we had to wait until 10-10:30 for the winds to start up like it normally would.  The 20th went back to beautiful early morning conditions and stayed that way all day.

So the SSW swell that faded a couple days ago and got replaced by the SW swell is still alive.  Easy 10-12 foot faces and Moneytrees working well on the higher tide and the Ledge and Fan Palm working on the lower tide.  Clean, hollow, pretty fast, and plenty of waves coming in for everyone.

New Moon party on the 19th.  Every 2 weeks is the clock out here for me.  That and every 3 days on the transport, but somehow the Gandrung Party is what signifies time marching onwards.  Otherwise its like a time warp described best by some esoteric quantum physicists theory on it.  It just doesn't make sense!!!  So the party finished at 9.  That's another little drop how many people are out here.  Normally the part goes on a lot later than that.
