G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp had 22 people leave this morning and 8 people come. So now in camp we have around 45 people. Just 5 people down at Joyo's, and possibly not many at G-Land Surf Camp. So... very uncrowded waves right now! We had offshore winds all day long, and for most of the day it was solid 3ft sets. However toward later in the day it picked up to 4ft on the sets and some of the new guests have come in very happy from their surf. Kongs had plenty of waves all day, and when the swell picked up a bit, Money Trees was having some nice ones.

I spent the day going through photo's and video files, editing, and had a great nap late in the day. After 7 days straight surfing, my body was stoked to have a break!

Next week is looking solid. By the looks of the Indian Ocean isobar charts, August (at least the start of it) is going to go off with a bang. Perhaps the biggest swell of the season will be here in 1 more week! Surely this will be a swell to run the Rip Curl Padang cup, and its by far enough swell to see some seriously solid stuff at G-Land!
